The Company
This market leader within the merchant processing services sector has an impressive global network of offices and a track record of developing innovative solutions for the corporate, retail and online merchant sectors. In this time of uncertainty, the well known UK business unit remains highly profitable and as such they are continuing to diversify both their product/service offerings and their target markets.
The Role
This is a unique Area Sales Manager position where you will inherit a stable field based sales team here in the UK. You will be charged with the responsibility of the ongoing performance and the continued development of this team. Also as a member of the management team your role will see you play a part in influencing the direction of the business here in the UK market.
Key Competencies
You will have a successful track record in mentoring and managing a field based sales team. Within this role you will also get involved and lead from the front with some of the larger deals or during initial training periods of your newer team members. Due to this you will have ideally spent time in a field based sales role before your current position in sales management.
On Offer
First and foremost, this stable organisation has a long history of developing staff and promoting from within. This is also true with the development of management staff and this will lead to future advancement opportunities within this global business. Salary package will depend heavily on your previous experience, but initial indication is a base salary circa £40k-£45k with on target earnings mid £60k, plus car allowance / company car. You will also receive an in depth benefits package including health & life insurance, pension etc.
