Job Description

Sales Director, (IT consumer products to Retail)
£80-90k Basic £120K OTE + Car Allow, Health, Pension

You will be responsible for a sales team focused on developing account penetration and market share of PC Devices and consumables. The team will be looking after sales of peripherals (webcams, keyboards, software etc) into the large retailers - Dixons, PC World, Currys, Amazon, Comet, Staples etc.

You will be a seasoned sales manager and have expert knowledge of the consumer landscape (i.e. how to get products to market) and the PC market.

Targeted to maximise investment in the channel by growing overall revenue of products, including software and peripherals. With your team proactively seek new and innovative ways of developing business through the multi channel strategies.

You will implement and evolving leading edge marketing campaigns and sales promotions. Direct and manage the use marketing budgets to deliver overall revenue.

Key Accountabilities
* Manage, lead and develop talent within the PC Sales team.
* Over achievement of customer revenue targets.
* Management and development of Microsoft relationship with key partners to MD level.
* Profitable management of product lifecycles.
* Maximum return on investment on promotional and marketing activity.
* Accurate forecasting and management of product inventory and rebate activity.
* Increase in Customer/Partner Experience ratings.

Essential Experience
* Significant experience in Sales / Sales Management / Partner Management within the retail/consumer channel.
* Proven experience in running a retail/consumer channel to market with a team of direct reports.
* Proven track record of working with all types of retail and global account partners at a senior level.
* Track record in successfully driving sales growth & effective marketing campaigns.
* Ability to communicate at board level, intellectualize strategic problems and deliver creative/innovative solutions for sustainable business performance.
