Job Description

Regional Sales Manager Medical DevicesLocation: North LondonSalary: c£45k neg basic + 40% OTE + car + excellent benefits  

Our client is one of the major suppliers of medical devices across Europe; a well established company now entering an exciting new phase of development. Product ranges extend across many therapeutic areas including vascular access, regional anaesthesia, IV management, neonatology and enteral feeding.

Ambitious growth targets are enabled by new and existing product lines and significant investment in the development of the sales team. As part of this growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for an Area Sales Manager to take responsibility for the North London Region and to lead the sales team.  

The Role

This role will report directly to the UK Sales Manager and will carry full responsibility for the turnover of the region.  The core functions of the role are: 

  • To maximise growth potential within the region
  • Formulate and implement strategy
  • Monitor regional revenue and trends and align the business plan to changing priorities
  • Facilitate the development of sales and business skills within the team
  • Create an environment where the team can drive growth
  • Successfully launch new products.


 The Candidate The successful candidate will: 

  • Be a strong team leader and manager capable of coaching and mentoring
  • Have a minimum of 2 years sales management experience in a medical devices field
  • Have a proven track record of sales
  • Be analytical with excellent numerical skills
  • Have an in depth understanding of the NHS and the promotion of medical products
  • Have experience of selling into key areas of the hospital ITU / Theatre / Procurement
  • Be educated to degree level or a qualified healthcare provider
