Job Description

The purpose of the role is to generate new business and demand for our clients integrated services and products across Creative Production: Digital, Photography, Print and Video as well as owning and managing relationships with existing and newly established clients.    

Responsibilities  Know your clients and market thoroughly and use your knowledge to identify new business opportunities and grow revenues; Be an expert in service offerings and know your clients and their market intimately.  Act as a consultant to clients; provide them with marketing expertise and great ideas that deliver a positive return on their investment and meet their business objectives; Identify markets for expansion i.e. if our client is working with one division, your objective is to penetrate new divisions, subsidiaries and affiliates of the company; Increase our incumbent position in every new client by up selling our clients services and solutions i.e. if work on video has been sold, try to sell other services and solutions such as print, photo and digital or integrated solutions that combine one or more offering;   Respond to client requests for proposals (RFPs) and prepare estimates and resources for proposals/pitches. Take a lead role in pitching and RFP activities for new business.  Work with the Client Engagement Team to implement processes which allow for the seamless transition of new clients;  Build strong relationships with stakeholders including senior management, investors and suppliers and ensure their expectations are effectively managed.  Ensure the stakeholders best interests are considered in all business dealings;  Be responsible for budgets and costs, ensuring profitability margins are met Negotiate deals, rates, terms and conditions with clients   Meet and exceed individual, as well as team revenue targets   Forecast and monitor upcoming opportunities using the our clients pipeline process Ž    Complete internal reports and systems within required deadlines Ž    Stay abreast of industry developments and keep up to date with the latest campaigns, technologies and trends.  Ensure ideas and offerings are innovative and allow our client to stay ahead of competition and clients;   Constantly look for ways to improve the client engagement offering and performance.  Support and contribute to department and company change initiatives. 

Experience Ž    Experience working at a similar level in New Business Director role for a publishing, print, advertising, PR, marketing or digital agency Ž    Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing Ž    Experience working with creative teams Ž    Extensive sales experience Ž    Experience dealing with senior clients Ž    Experience and understanding of the retail market

QualificationsŽ    A degree in business, marketing or media is advantageous
