Job Description

Advancing People are working on behalf of a leading Blue Chip product and service provider who is now looking to recruit several Business Development Manager's due to continued growth and success across the UK.

Candidates will be considered for these roles in most parts of the UK.

The purpose of their Business Development Manager's is to generate new business with clients face to face, throughout a designated area of the UK. It will be your responsibility to communicate the services our client can offer to potential businesses before closing the deal, using commercial and consultative selling techniques. Our client is a market leader in automotive related solutions and they are looking for candidates to sell an already very well received and growing product - full product training and support will be provided.

Our client is looking for candidates who have proven and successful backgrounds in external Business Development roles, with the ability to deal with a variety of clients at different levels - very much a hunter and not a farmer.

Although dealing mainly with SME's, my client does also have exposure to some corporate clients so experience dealing with these types of clients will be beneficial. You will need to be self-motivated with the ability to spot commercial opportunities with these clients, to ensure you get the most out of these clients - whilst providing them with the best service possible and retaining their business moving forward.

You must be driven and hungry to succeed whilst demonstrating you can manage your own time and prioritise client meetings - identifying key decision makers and building relationships quickly with clients is also essential.

Our client is offering a basic salary of between £30,000 to £35,000 plus an uncapped OTE, company car and typical benefits package.
