Sales Manager for Aid and Project Sector - Guildford with 25% Travel - Salary Very Competitive + Bonus + Benefits

Based near Guildford with 25% Travel : Automotive Industry

THE ROLE
Our Client is a Premier Brand in the Automotive Industry. The role is required to lead the sales of this Premier Brand to the Aid & Project Sector globally, growing the business in line with annual targets and Brand Manufacturer expectations. This includes managing the A&P Sales Team to develop customer relationships and consequent sales of Premier Brand products and services to Aid & Project customers globally. Supporting and coordinating the wider global sales team in the sale of this Premier Brand products, like modified vehicles and other services to the A&P sector. Develop and manage relationships with key account organisations through visits and direct contact to support the growth of sales to existing and new accounts. Develop a strategy to achieve sales targets. Understand customer needs and propose Fleet Solutions based on the broad offering of the Group. Support Regional Business Managers and Sales Managers through the distribution of information and material to support the sale of Premium Brand products and services. Support the development and implementation of the annual business planning process. Manage the A&P team, currently consisting of a Fleet Sales Manager and two Sales Executives to ensure that sales targets are achieved, customer relationships are managed professionally and effectively and customer requests for information are responded to in a timely manner. Work with the Technical Director and Automotive Product Development team as required to develop products and specific solutions to meet market demand.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Five years? experience of International sales in the automotive sector. Experience and preparedness to work in challenging market conditions (development or post-conflict markets) where a track record of significant sales growth can be demonstrated. Knowledge of network within other OEMs i.e. Ford Motor Company.
