Job Description

Advancing People are working closely with a market leading Blue Chip firm who work within the Automotive Sector.  Due to ambitious growth plans my client is looking to recruit Two proven Business Development Managers for their Southern Regions.

Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager these roles will involve generating profitable growth from a blend of existing and new customers across either a traditional South East or South West patch depending on your location.  

These roles will offer huge scope for sales growth, with all the support and training you would expect of a market leading Blue Chip firm.

You will have the responsibility to meet and exceed set revenue targets of c£6m with a keen eye on high levels of service from start to finish, taking complete ownership of the process and dealing with any issues swiftly and professionally.

The areas will consist of approximately 20-30 key accounts each with 100 + more local and SME accounts, you must be able to deal with people at all levels and can adapt depending on the situation that is presented to you.

To be successful in these roles you will need to have exceptional communication skills with clients but also with many different internal departments throughout the organisation from Branch Managers to Operational and Pricing Teams.

Pricing is key in these roles and any exposure to tenders, the detail and commercialism of pricing is a distinct advantage.

Delivering a top quality service, not selling on price, building relationships, coupled with the hunger to succeed and high quality organisational skills are all essential for these rarely available roles.

My client if offering up to £40k Basic, plus Car, OTE and package.

They will consider candidates outside of the Automotive Sector with the relevant experience - as long as you have experience of pricing, complete ownership of clients, service lead approach with a commercial awareness and experience of dealing with large multi £m accounts.
