Technical Sales Engineer [Adhesives / Sealants]
NE England and East Coast of Scotland (Aberdeen, Berwick, Dundee, Edinburgh)
£24,000 - £30,000 Basic, OTE £34,000 - £40,000 + Private medical care, car, mobile phone, laptop, lunch allowance.

A vacancy has become available for a Technical Sales Engineer within one of the worlds leading manufacturing and engineering firms. Working within an industry sector with a £25M UK annual turnover, this company provides engineering solutions in adhesive, sealant and surface treatment products. With European headquarters and a presence in 125 countries worldwide, this is a fantastic opportunity to work within a global company with excellent progression and career development prospects.
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be working from home with the responsibility for sales around the East Coast of Scotland and North East England. The role provides solution based sales to clients within the original equipment manufacture (OEM), and distribution sectors in engineering and manufacturing disciplines. Reporting to the area manager, this role requires a consultative approach to sales on the basis of selling benefits and applications of the adhesive, sealants and surface treatment products.
The successful candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering and a qualification such as a degree, HND or ONC in a related discipline would be an advantage. You will have at least 1-2 years experience in sales within an engineering discipline. You will be highly motivated and outgoing, driven to develop new business and a strong client base, and determined to succeed within your discipline. It is essential to the role that the candidate lives within the territory on the East Coast of Scotland.
