Job Description

Cummins Power Generation needs an experienced Manager to support the specific Critical Protection segment within Europe, Russia and CIS.

As Manager of Critical Protection segment, you will:

Be accountable for developing and implementing long term relationships and sales strategies with distributors, focused on critical protection markets - specifically focusing on consultant engineering, end user, and key accounts.
Work towards the sales and profits goals for the regional Power Systems Business.
Developing segment strategies and plans; tracking market intelligence on data centre trends, hospital and water treatment markets
Assist the area Power Gen Business Unit Distributors by training, the provision of advice, specifications and pricing where applicable and to assist where required in large or complex sales / project opportunities.
Improve Cummins Power Gen penetration & preference with consulting engineers

To be successful in this role within Critical Protection segment, you will possess

Bachelors degree or equivalent
Substantial experience in Power Generation industry. Ideally this would be within the Genset industry but a parallel industry would also be of interest, for instance UPS, battery or switchgear
Indepth knowledge of the critical market segments/verticals (data centres, healthcare and waste water treatment) within Europe
Proven ability to develop business and work effectively with consultants and specifiers, in order to gain early visibility of projects

You should also be able to demonstrate a desire to progress and succeed, be highly computer literate and be able to work as part of a team. This is an ideal role for someone to develop their career further within in a highly successful, global company.
