Graduate/Trainee Sales Engineer - Global Distribution Company
Location - Kent
£17 - 19k + Plus Annual Bonus + Pension + 21 Days Holiday
The Company
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading engineering company with an established market reputation. They are a leading supplier of Power Transmission Products into multiple sectors including the Chemical, Transport, Automotive, Metals along with several other sectors. They are on course to achieve double digit growth in 2011, and due to a recent promotion within the company, they are now looking to add an additional Graduate/Trainee Sales Engineer to cater for the growing market demands.
As the Graduate/Trainee Sales Engineer you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Support both the Branch Manager and the Assistant Branch Manager in progressing of pending quotations and report writing.
You will also be processing and monitoring orders from initial enquiry through to delivery, managing the logistics with both the customer and Team leaders.
Adhering to customer needs on technical requirements working alongside the Branch Manager to ensure all requirements are met for both the organisation and the Customer.
Dealing with incoming calls and queries and to action all enquiries through to completion.
Carry out purchasing, liaising with the Branch Manager, suppliers and centre.
Ensure a high level of Customer Service
The ideal Graduate/Trainee Sales Engineer will have the following:
An Engineering background, ideally a minimum HNC / HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
An ambitious individual who is looking to pursue a career in sales should apply
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
