Job Title:             Technical Sales Engineer 

  

Department:        Sales and Marketing

  

Reporting to:       Sales & Marketing Director

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide full support to the Sales and Marketing Director and Technical Sales Manager
• Sales and marketing of the Company OE product range worldwide.
• Preparation of tenders and quotations
• Ability to deal with customers at all levels on sales and contract negotiations..
• Contract management
• Letter of Credit management
• Arrange shipment of vehicles
• Provide technical and sales support to overseas agents
• Visit customers/agents UK and overseas
• Assist in the development of product specifications
• Participate at exhibitions, conferences and seminars.
• Interface with Finance, Engineering, Production, After Sales departments

Knowledge:

• Engineering background
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of all sales office procedures
• Product knowledge
• Knowledge of company's operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• Ideally an ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

  

• Proven track record in generating new business in an Engineering/ Sales/Export environment
• Automotive background - Heavy Vehicle sector.
