Our client is expanding it's innovative business market and seeks to recruit a Head of Sales & Events to build on their increased profitability and continue to accelerate their impressive growth, as well as being tasked with maintaining our excellent high percentage of client retention. Their unrivalled facilities, including automotive training and vehicle demonstration facilities and an expansive outdoor showground as well as unrivalled exhibition / conference and events facilities.
This will allow the successful applicant to provide innovative event solutions for automotive and engineering manufacturers and blue chip clients.
Responsible for defining and implementing business development strategy to promote and expand sales opportunities, and maximise profit. Expected to 'lead from the front' in terms of generating and closing new business and leading on new business pitches.
Also having full budget / target accountability.
To succeed must have consultative sales experience and an ability to develop / manage successful sales teams. Must be confident, outgoing and persuasive with excellent communication / presentation skills.
