Design Engineer

Coventry

£30,000-£32,000 per annum

ESTABLISHED MANUFACTURER: who has been at the forefront of technology for the past three decades. They design and manufacture customised equipment for clients within the Aerospace, Automotive and Plastics industries. The company delivers added value and cost efficiencies and the products have become an integral part of the manufacturing process becoming long-term partners to many of the global automotive manufacturers.

THE ROLE: Produce drawings, parts lists and specifications. Source parts for use on equipment. Liaise with Purchasing Department. Maintain technical files and ISO Standards. Produce information in a sequence and in a time frame that match the needs of Production. Produce pneumatic and schematic diagrams. Provide design support to manufacturing, R&D and sales.

THE CANDIDATE: - Will possess qualification at HNC/D level in Mechanical Engineering, a solid engineering background with 3 years+ experience in a related industrial sector, experience of AutoCad Inventor 3D design package. They will have the ability to work under pressure use their own initiative, be willing to take on responsibility, be logical, methodical, creative, confident, determined and assertive.

THE PACKAGE:

• Basic Salary: Up to £30,000-£32,000
• Benefits: 20 days holiday plus statutory, 2 x DIS, Contributory Pension
