This is an exciting new position of Business Development Manager is to represent the number 1 supplier of high quality automotive products to the UKs aftermarket. Our clients are seeking a Business Development Manager to open doors and build winning relationships with new independent garage customers. Based in the Chester area you will also be covering the North West region including Birkenhead and Wrexham.
THE ROLE
As Business Development Manager you will be taking a lead sales role across a territory covering 2-3 branches. Youll build a territory sales plan, identify potential leads and identify new business to bring on board. This is very much a new business role once the accounts are regular customers, they will be handed over to the local branch manager to build.
Our client needs you to be able to demonstrate added value to the customer through a true understanding of their business. Youll have the support of both a Regional General Manager and the Local Branch Managers, in addition to a range of excellent tools and techniques to help you grow the business.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
* Proven track record in field based business to business sales
* Demonstrable track record in new business development and significant account growth
* Natural hunger and relationship building ability with a desire to grow your career
* Commercially astute and experience of working in a margin led sales model
* An understanding and knowledge of automotive markets and products, or an affinity with the automotive sector is preferable
* Be well organised and a confident communicator and capable of working in an extremely fast paced environment.
