Advancing People are working closely with a leading specialist Business Service company within the IT sector who are now looking to recruit an Internal sales consultant to join their successful team in Bedford.
The company has been established for over 20 years and has excellent progression opportunities - with regular training and development of their staff. You will be working within a small dynamic team who all focus on different geographical locations around the UK.
Areas of responsibility will include managing your own database and making outbound calls, working towards your KPI as set out by your line manager, managing your territory to maximise revenue. You will be pro-actively seeking out and closing new leads within your allocated area - you will need to have the ability to pick up the phone and cold call, whilst being fully supported.
My client is one of the most professional of its kind in the UK and they expect its staff to mirror this - dealing with their new and existing clients at all levels.
You will need to have proven track record within pro-active internal sales and account management. The ability to work under pressure and manage your time effectively is essential, along with an attention to detail whilst keeping the database up to date.
You will be able to work well as part of a team and build strong relationships both internally and externally.
In return my client is able to offer a basic salary of £17,000 - £20,000 with a realistic OTE of an additional £11,000 per annum (£31k), however this is uncapped.
