Job Description

This business is an italian manufactured accessory product supplied to the automotive industry.  They initially specialized in plastic mold design and production, designing and producing high performance axial fans and centrifugal blowers for this sector for the last 30 years.  Their aftermarket division manufactures power windows, central door locking and vehicle security alarms, parking sensors, cruise control and tracking devices.  They now need someone to specialise in a new range of Italian designed and manufactured products into the OEM sector.  The company have established themselves throughout the industry for quality, service and customer satisfaction and during the last 7 years have formed a German partnership to be the sole distributor for one of their satellite navigation products in the UK.  You should have a proven successful track record in the aftermarket sector and ideally dealing with OEM clients.  You should have a educational level of a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. You would be required to not only manage over 300 existing clients but to identify a market, conduct market analysis and prepare/execute UK strategies and action plans to attract new clientele.  A marketing background would be beneficial in order to understand this market place as this would be an essential part of your role.
