Job Description

  • £18-24k, dependent on experience, + uncapped commission scheme and company benefits
  • 22 days holiday + 3.5 days discretionary holiday at Christmas

  

My client is a leading B2B Publisher with a healthy portfolio of events, magazines and websites. They are currently recruiting for an experienced, ambitious and self-motivated Delegate Telesales Executive.  

This is an exciting opportunity to grow with the company as it seeks to leverage its leading brands and its significant market presence by establishing a highly profitable events business.  You will secure the participation of senior level (up to C level) business executives from major corporations at high quality, research-driven conferences, round tables and networking events, tackling the most important business challenges of the day. Some events will require you to secure paying delegate registrations, some will be complimentary.  

With a minimum of one year's experience of telephone based B2B sales, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in either a publishing or commercial conferencing environment. 

You will also need:

  • A genuine interest in, and enjoyment of, the world of business - you will be comfortable learning in-depth about new industries and developing strong market knowledge
  • To be comfortable on the telephone as your primary form of external communication and confident face-to-face at a senior level
  • To demonstrate experience of working in a disciplined manner to clear KPIs and delivering on targets
  • To complete all administrative duties as required by the company such as data input into CRM system
  • To be able to generate new customers
  • Show a clear understanding and application of: cold calling; rapport and engagement; questioning skills; benefit and value selling; objection handling; closing skills; excellent customer relations
  • Experience of acquiring key relevant data - lead sourcing
  • To develop excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders across the company, including editors, publishers, conference production, marketing, operations and sponsorship sales

In return you will be offered a salary of up to £24K and an uncapped commission structure as well as excellent company benefits.
