My client is the leading publisher of a weekly nationwide classified advertising motor vehicle magazine available free every Friday from major supermarkets and petrol stations in the UK. The magazine was launched 10 years ago and has approximately 60 pages of vehicle advertisements.They have a 48,000 distribution and from this an 80% pick up rate, from which 80% of customers will actively be looking to purchase a vehicle.
Due to expansion they are looking for a Field Sales Executive within the Birmingham area.
The role is 50% account management and 50% new business.You will be required to journey plan and visit your existing clients on a weekly basis, gaining copy and pictures to publish.You will also focus on direct calling sole traders and franchises, aiming to gain an n appointment to discuss the benefits of advertising.
The majority of your time will be spent in the field, however one day will be spent in the office proofing and executing the advertisements.
To apply they require an individual who has the ability to rapport build at all levels, is driven, self motivated and has tenacity.You must have some sales exposure, ideally within a face to face environment, however applications from Telesales executives wanting to progress into the field will be considered.
In return you will be offered a basic of £16,500 - £18,000, an ote of £30,000 uncapped, a company car and career progression.
