Account Manager - Advertising Agency - Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands : Salary c £25-30k Commensurate with experience.
The Agency

They then plan and execute across the right media channels to stimulate conversations, influence behaviour and deliver real ROI. It's an approach which they call Business Creativity.
Purpose of Role:
The purpose of the role is to build and maintain relationships with clients, to efficiently service their
needs and to ensure profitable billings.
Responsible to:
The Account Manager is responsible to the Account Director and accordingly works to their
demands.

Responsibilities:
Management of direct reports including training needs, appraisals, holiday cover and any other personnel issues.
Maximise utilisation of personnel resources ensuring optimum benefit to the agency.
Review current work practices assessing opportunities for improving and then managing the implementation of those changes.
Targeting of and presentation to new clients with the purpose of winning their advertising or project account (where the advertising or project work can be handled profitably).
Monitoring of trends within the advertising field and of potential clients to provide intelligence for the point above.
Preparation of pitches where necessary.
Handling of accounts when won to include efficient and effective account management
Effective communication between client and agency and within the agency.
Accurate quoting of jobs to clients utilising concept.
All jobs to be accurately and fairly costed, involving key participating staff if necessary.
All quotes to be itemised out where appropriate and costs given prior to any work being carried out.
Comprehensive completion of all internal briefing forms to permit an understanding of the task by other internal departments (production and creative).
Ensuring that a confirmation of order is sent to client prior to work commencing and where appropriate, a purchase order received from the client.
Ensuring that accurate and detailed records are kept on all aspects of a job and that they are in such a format that they are understandable in the event of a temporary handover.
Effective briefing, monitoring and control of jobs within the creative department and liaising with other Account Handlers and the Production Department to ensure efficient completion of your work.
Presentation of visuals and artwork ensuring that the final perceived quality of the same is of the highest standard.
Invoicing of clients following completion of jobs or at a stage within a project schedule where it is appropriate to issue an invoice. Invoices should be itemised if possible and must be issued at the earliest possible opportunity.
