Advertising Sales Executive
Gateshead, Tyne and Wear
£15,000 - £20,000 DOE £35,000 Uncapped OTE

An opportunity has arisen for an Advertising Sales Executive to join our client, a publisher of national magazines within niche markets.

This is the ideal role for a highly motivated and target driven advertising or media sales professional, looking to further their career with a leading publisher. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on market leading publications within a professional yet friendly environment and earn a significant, unlimited income.

As an Advertising Sales Executive you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by calling new and established clients.

In addition to actively and creatively sourcing leads, potential advertising opportunities and new revenue streams, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers in agencies and client companies. You will also be required to keep up-to-date records of all contacts with customers and potential clients

To be considered for this position you must have a proven track record in either a sales or telesales role, gained within the advertising or media sector.

As an Advertising Sales Executive you should be a confident communicator, with an enthusiastic and professional approach. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to close business is also key.

Whilst not essential, experience of dealing with blue chip companies and major advertising agencies would be a distinct advantage to your application.
