Job Description

Field Sales/Field Sales Executive/Packaging Field Sales/Business Development Manager/Sales Executive/Sales Representative/Packaging Sales.

Our client is looking for a successful experienced Field Sales Executive to join their thriving, growing comany.  Their focus in 2012 is now to expand their sales team and are looking to recruit an experienced Packaging Sales Manager for their Packaging Division. Offering an immediate start.

 
Candidates with a strong Field Sales background in the packaging sector would be preferable.

They supply Industruial Packaging locally from their distribution centre . They supply polythene products, adhesive tapes, strapping and mailing products.

Your sales area will cover between junction 29 and juntion 42 of the M1. This area includes Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Wakefoeld all the way up to Leeds.

Their web site is the only web site of its kind in the UK to provide instant

online print quotes for leaflets, brochures, direct mail and thousands of printed products.

Customers can access the best print prices from several hundred printers based in the UK,

Europe and China.

Our client sees this as the 'Go Compare' web site for the Print Industry.

They have four internal sales and production coordinators adding and improving the site every day.

The key role for candidates is to contact marketing departments and print buyers and make them aware of

this new (and free) service.

Print experience is essential with at least 2 years in this field. The candidate will come from a print management, web offset, B1, B2 or Direct Mail background.

A basic salary ranging from £24k to £35k will be paid plus car, phone etc.

You will be either working from the office responding to email enquiries or from customers who have requested a quote for packaging services via their website. You will be providing any additional information that customers may require and closing the sale.

This role also involves sending samples out top customers and guiding them through your company website to show them all the services that you could offer them. You will also be utilizing the companies own database of previous customers to see if they have any additional requirements or to place a new order.

There will be a lot of field sales involved in the role-the office/off side split will be decided by the needs of the role and you will have sales support as required. One aspect of this could be to drop off brochures to prospective clients in your set area.

The successful candidate will be dealing mainly with mail order companies, local companies and large profile/Blue Chip Companies in any sector-there really is no limit as to where the sales will take you.

Another aspect of the role will to ensure you keep accurate records of all sales activity including new sales, call backs etc.

If GP targets of 2 x times basic salary are achieved. (further details below) where you can earn £36,000 in commission
