My client is currently recruiting for an Experienced Account Manager in the North West area.
My client helps organizations around the world reduce the costs and risks associated with information protection and storage. The Company offers comprehensive records management, data protection, and information destruction solutions along with the expertise and experience to address complex information challenges such as rising storage costs, litigation, regulatory compliance and disaster recovery. They are the leading provider of Records/Data Management and Destruction in the country and worldwide and currently turnover $2.1 billion worldwide and £130 million in the UK. They also operate over 850+ locations employing 15500 staff.
My client requires a talented and confident external Account Manager to join their 65 strong Account Management team.
The position will cover the Records Management and Data Protection divisions who have responsibility for storing and protecting confidential documentation for most of the country's leading banks, solicitors, accountants and auditors.
Responsibilities will include:
Direct responsibility for a portfolio of Records Management and Data Protection customers with combined annual revenue of over £1.2m
Lead the management of these accounts by developing relationships with all key personnel within the businesses both internally and externally
Development of extra revenue, i.e. special projects, through effective questioning and research
Dealing with complex legislative and regulatory accounts with a multi-level decision making processes.
Educate, train and demonstrate to customers all aspects of internet and non internet based inventory systems on offer.
This is a pivotal role within the organisation so experience and team fit is essential.
You must be able to demonstrate extensive business to business sales and account management experience at all levels. Knowledge of handling complex, high activity accounts is also essential. You must be able to demonstarte excellent rapport building skills and be able to provide evidence of delivering outstanding quality of service.
In return for your expertise you will receive a £28-£34000 basic + OTE of circa £40-£48,000, company car, mobile, laptop 3G enabled, pension and healthcare + excellent opportunities for progression within the company.
