Senior Media Sales ExecutiveAdvertising / Sponsorship

Established in 1990, Plaza is an independent company helping charities and other civil society organisations deliver sustainable public benefit by the provision of essential information and training for their employees and trustees.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Media Sales Executive looking to develop their career in media sales.
As a Senior Media Sales Executive, you will be selling to new and existing customers on the phone and through face-to-face meetings. You will be selling advertising and sponsorship across a portfolio including magazines, yearbooks, websites, email newsletters, conferences and awards.
Your clients will include director level contacts at blue chip companies, SMEs and advertising agencies and you will need to be able to tailor your approach accordingly. The sell is always very consultative - this is not a hardcore cold-calling role!
Plaza is well established firm with a flat management structure. We rely on strong team work and empower staff with a high level of personal responsibility within their role. As a direct consequence you will learn a great deal about sales and running a publishing company and the right candidate will be presented with fantastic opportunities for career progression as a result.
We are looking for a focused self-starter with hunger to earn money! You will have great communication skills and a professional and confident approach to work.
Senior Media Sales Executive candidate skills:
- Must be numerate, and literate.
- Experience of advertising or sponsorship sales role within a publishing company is essential. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
- B2B experience is a plus.
- Those that have been trained in advertising sales will have a distinct advantage.
Basic salary: GBP20,000 to GBP30,000 (dependant on experience) OTE GBP35,000 - GBP55,000
