Senior advertising sales executive / media sales executive. Up to £24,000 plus excellent bonus + bens to work for one of the UK's most dynamic media companies
Our client is one of the most dynamic and expanding media companies in the UK, providing information and training to professional business markets. It is one of the UK's leading publishing and events companies, with offices in the UK, Paris, Chicago, Singapore and Sydney.
They are now looking to for an experienced media sales executive to work on their flagship product, driving display, classified and online revenues. The title is one of brand the leading weekly titles in their field, with a strong subscription base. They also publish a range of professional supplements which run alongside the weekly magazine providing their readers with the most useful and up to date news service on the market.
The company are looking for a highly competent and experienced individual to join the team and play an integral part in the development of the staff and products in 2009.
The Senior Sales Executive will be expected to drive revenue across display sales.
The candidate must be extremely target driven and be able to deal with a fast paced media sales environment. Working in a team of 4 the candidate must manage their territory to maximum potential while working to weekly and portfolio targets.
The successful candidate will have an established background in media sales with a demonstrational track record generating new business revenue. Experience of working in a high performance environment to deadlines is essential.
Excellent sales planning skills
Effective monitoring of progress of all sales campaigns
A high level of personal sales with particular attention to client management
Able to create and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
Able to maximise all sales opportunities for the publication's products, and to drive the development of the portfolio.
As a senior Sales Executive, you will be/are/can;
A very outgoing and assertive individual, who can demonstrate confidence and intelligence with their sales approach.
Generate healthy new business revenue while maximising revenue through existing clients
Can demonstrate excellent sales track record gained within a similar and demanding market.
Be able to use initiative for new product ideas to generate new revenue streams
Highly motivated, enthusiastic and an ability to work under own initiative
Ambitious individual who is looking to progress in a successful, driven sales environment
