COMPANY
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced healthcare advertising senior account director to join this successful and award winning company which is one of the largest specialist healthcare communications consultancies worldwide. It is part of a Communication Network which is part of a Global Group of companies. Their business is entirely health and healthcare communications with a track record reaching back to 1986. The UK operation is made up of 8 companies and 180 staff. They offer the broadest range of healthcare disciplines including, Consulting, Clinical Trial Recruitment, Branding, Advertising, Medical Education, Public Relations, Digital, Direct-to-patient and Direct-to-consumer.

ROLE
Primary Function: Responsible for day to day running, long term planning, profitability and growth of own accounts.
Delivery of award winning ?awesome and creative? creative campaigns.
Secondary Function: Coaching and developing linees

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY
Client Counsel
Use business understanding to respond to client challenges
Provide strategic brand counsel to clients (in addition to developing and implementing advertising campaigns)
Conduct regular internal strategic review of accounts
Creative
Deliver big ideas that work effectively for client brands
Lead team to create award-winning campaigns
People Management
Conduct annual appraisals and regular development/objective reviews for linees
Encourage learning and development of team
Produce and regularly review resourcing plan for own accounts
Inspire team to deliver great work beyond their expectations
Support Group Account Director and lead Group in their absence
Financial
Understand and comply with agency and client?s financial processes
Responsible for achieving budget for own accounts and producing accurate quarterly forecasts
Ensure timely submission of timesheets for self and team
Ensure accounts are not over serviced by reviewing timesheets and resourcing templates on at least a monthly basis
Ensure profitable budgeting, estimating and billing
New Business Development
Grow existing client business on own accounts
Identify new business opportunities
Make valuable contribution to new business pitches
Group Connectivity
Identify wider services that will benefit your clients? brands, and introduces colleagues from other disciplines in the network to own clients when appropriate
Conduct
Maintain professionalism at all times and lead by example
MEASUREMENT
Measurement of individual success in this role will include consideration of the following:
Delivery against personal annual performance targets
360° personal performance appraisals
Annual client satisfaction appraisal survey
Number of award-winning campaigns
