Job Description

We are looking for an Agency Sales Executive who will be responsible for maximising revenues of sales from an assigned agency client list

We're looking for an individual with a go-get attitude and a desire to work within a fast and demanding environment. The role will provide exciting and challenging opportunities for the right candidate with strong prospect of promotion and running their own projects within Trojan Publishing Ltd.  The sky is the limit for the right skill sets.

The role will involve selling both display sales and standard online inventory on a CPM basis and creative non-inventory solutions such as sponsorships, advertorials, micro sites, and competitions across the Attitude print and online network, which includes Attitude Magazine,   

You will be reporting into the Advertising Sales Manager, working across the UK's leading and lucrative GAY lifestyle sector dealing with a considerable number of major west end agencies media and PR. Using your prospecting and analytical skills you will be dedicated to developing and closing new business, growing existing business and working with other team members. The ability to work/interface with all areas of the business and to liaise with the Attitude print and special projects sales teams is essential in achieving your sales objectives within this sector. Presentation and communication skills are essential to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:  Generate, sell, negotiate, close and secure new business opportunities and achieve the monthly revenue target set by the Group Sales Manager. Account manage, maintain and develop existing client base in order to achieve revenue in line with expectations set by your Sales Manager. Increase new business opportunities and client numbers Achieve agreed levels of productivity e.g. phone calls, meetings, and Build Strong relationships within media agencies.

Person Specification Requirements: 

Experience in face to face sales, ideally with experience of selling to media agencies. Proven track record in working to targets. Online advertising sales experience an added bonus. Proactive attitude with a proven ability to work with a high degree of self-motivation as well as being a team player. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
