Job Description

This position is an exciting role as a Project Manager which involves working with advertising, sales, project managing an editorial team in print media which you control and are responsible for.

As an independent publishing house that has an exclusive agreement with one of the major national daily newspapers, you will be required to come up with titles for reports, sell them to relevant companies and then produce the content using a team of selected journalists.

This role holds a lot of responsibility and is highly rewarding and profitable as there is a commission structure that is not offered anywhere else.

A proven track record of sales as a sales manager to sales executive is required along with confidence as you will be pitching to marketing managers up to CEO. You will manage your own time, budgets, editorial team while achieving sales targets.

This is an extremely rewarding role in a high-paced and profitable sales environment . You will be on a basic salary of £19-26k for the first year and a realistic OTE is £55k, top performers are earning much higher.

You do not need to have any previous experience in the media industry as comprehensive training is given. Great sales, communication, networking and relationship building skills are also useful to succeed in this field.

- Strong communication skills in spoken and written English
- Strong sales and business development experience is preferred
- Clear entrepreneurial flair and passion for doing business
- Able to work and perform in a high paced environment
- Sense of humour and outgoing

You will develop your sales techniques, business thought process and build a strong network of business decision makers over a short period of time along with developing your own reputation in the media.
