One of the largest Media Conglomerates worldwide is looking for a proven exhibition sales executive to work across their international Food portfolio form their offices based in Holland.
With the full support of the headquarters in London, UK. The office in the Netherlands is the organiser of the world leading series of pharmaceutical and food ingredient trade shows. The Dutch office also publishes International Food Ingredients magazine and organises related conference and online activities.
For the Food and Health ingredients shows held in Europe we are looking for a sales executive. The Food ingredients Europe show is the largest event in its sector in the world and will next run in Frankfurt in 2009 and consists of over 1100 exhibitors (25.000 m2 net exhibition space) from all over the world. Health ingredients Europe will next take place in Paris in 2008 will consist of over 500 exhibiting companies (8.500 m2 net exhibition space). The sales executive will also be part of the team selling space across the portfolio of international events, running all over the world.
Core Deliverables
"Proactive sales person to target and sell to new and existing clients via the telephone and face to face to generate revenue and meterage for the Food ingredients portfolio.
"Be able to understand and overcome objections and close new clients.
"Ability to lead research and generate own client base
"Maintain accurate and timely detailed sales reporting
"Execute sales actions, follow up on leads
"To contribute to the planning and development of the sales for the events
"To contribute in gaining new business and increase sales for all events
"Play an active part in identifying sales opportunities.

"A good organiser and able to work in a hectic environment
"Excellent English, both written and spoken
"Have a personal life that is able to accommodate a degree of international travel.
