Job Description

Field Sales Executive / Territory Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Music Licensing Manager required for a company who specialise in licensing for recorded music in public. An ambitious, highly motivated, "face to face", sales professional with a successful track record in driving sales and revenue, preferably from a B2B commission led culture.

  • - Central and South West London

Basic salary of £25k + excellent monthly commission giving a substantial OTE of £35k -£40k+ and excellent benefits package. (Initially on a 6 month fixed term contract)

 

Job Title:  Territory Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Field Sales Executive / Music Licensing Manager

  

Package: £25000 BASIC salary  + monthly commission (which could take salary to £35- £40k+), +  CAR + OTHER BENEFITS , including Blackberry , Laptop , Pension scheme

Central and South West London.

This is a challenging role and the key purpose is to meet with customers in Central and South West London territories, identify their music usage in all market sectors, and maximise licence revenue.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Based from home, you will be responsible for prioritising your own daily tasks, planning and organising your week/month of customer visits; maximisation of specific revenue streams through proactive management and monitoring of area and accounts
  • Sourcing new business, building successful relationships with customers within licensing territory; work to unlicensed premise lists when required
  • Educating, advising customers on the licensing terms and conditions ensuring their understanding; promoting music usage within premises not using music
  • Self source churn leads, providing relevant information to the Centre; Licence churn leads allocated, including obtaining information regarding previous licensee to Revenue Collections when applicable
  • Calculate and issue licences, ideally obtaining full payment at point of agreement
  • Monitor arranged payment agreements'  and revisit where payment agreement is not met
  • Undertake reassessment' and debt collection duties; information regarding previous licensee to be collected for debt action
  • Build and maintain successful networking ensuring good communication mechanism within the business

Experience and Skills

  

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Field sales experience, with a proven track record of achieving targets and developing customer relationships in a Field sales or account management role.
  • Knowledge and experience of Field Sales Techniques ( Planning and preparation , Journey planning , influencing , objection handling , negotiation).
  • Professional confidence with a proven track record in account management.
  • Tenacity with a flexible approach, combined with a high level of personal drive, motivation and enthusiasm to exceed target and success
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, with a high degree of problem solving in changing economic situations
  • Must have the ability to engage, influence external and internal customers
  • Possess sound knowledge of the territories, taking full responsibility of managing your business' and any additional work within your role.     
  • Competitive, analytical with good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Experience of the On trade or retail trade would be beneficial eg Nightclubs , pubs , restaurants , clubs , Hotels , shops etc or of selling into office or industrial premises.

The successful candidate should ideally reside in  the area specified above.

Full clean driving license is necessary.

The Package

 £25,000 base salary plus excellent monthly commission giving a potential OTE of £35k to £40k+ Company car and other extensive benefits. (6 month fixed term contract).
