Commercial Manager
Location: Home based/Glasgow/ London
Package: Competitive salary + Car (or Allowance) + Bonus + Excellent benefits package
The Company
McCurrach represent many of the biggest and powerful brands within the UK food and drink industry. By providing strategic insight, analysis and in-store execution we significantly increase retail sales of these brands by actively planning, positioning and promoting them in-store. As a result, products fly off the shelves and sales figures soar.
The Role
As a Commercial Manager you will own and develop the business relationship with key client contacts. Delivering commercial insight from the field sales team around retailers and brands and demonstrate the return on investment for our client. You'll take ownership of your success by tracking results against agreed targets with regular performance reviews. With P&L responsibilities you will support setting the strategy and agreeing the service with our clients, delivering against that agreed service and identifying opportunities for growth. You will also interpret the strategy into clear objectives agreed at monthly, quarterly and annual meetings with client, which the sales team will deliver against.
The Candidate
To be successful you will be a graduate with an excellent commercial understanding of business and have already managed large accounts with strong experience of setting, developing and managing customer relationships and service. Previous commercial experience in the retail sector including an understanding of category management, product management, sales, buying, trade marketing, market research and analysis is an advantage but not essential.
