Job Description
Our client, a leading, global online advertising network, is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their team. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business with publishers and negotiating remnant inventory.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager include:
- The recruitment of web publishers to the network
- Meeting and exceeding mutually agreed ad inventory and revenue targets
- Calling publishers and clients direct
- Bringing new publishers and clients on board
- Managing the wider relationship between the company and its inventory partners to ensure all campaigns are delivered
Qualities we're looking for in the Business Development Manager:
- A strong academic background
- Previous media sales experience, preferably within online advertising and ideally recruiting web publishers
- A thorough understanding of the ad serving marketplace and technologies
- A proven track record of achieving and sustaining high levels of outbound call activity
- Demonstrable proficiency in account management
- Excellent telephone presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong written communication skills
