Job Description

Business Development Manager - London Office - £30-40k OTE £70-80k Uncapped - Fast growing and highly successful online media company - Vibrant team environment, relaxed but hard working! - Autonomous role, working internally and/or field based - Experience from within the online media industry required

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for building strong relationships with existing client accounts as well as developing new business and assisting with the growth of the company.  They are looking for a talented and entrepreneurial media sales professional to accelerate the growth of the company's advertising revenue.  As a small business who have experienced substantial growth, they have a wealth of opportunities. Their environment is exciting, the pace of change is lightening fast and we have little or no red tape to slow them down. We all have a deep seated belief that we can really make things happen and if you are similarly energetic and prepared to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in you will love the freedom and opportunity that this role will give you.

Responsibilities - Business Development Manager

  • Personally manage and grow existing key accounts
  • Identify and drive key areas of new business opportunity
  • Cultivate advertising agency relationships to maximise agency business
  • Deliver against ambitious revenue targets
  • Work with campaign management specialist to optimise clients' campaigns

Skills and Attributes - Business Development Manager

  • A proven media sales professional with a track record of success in competitive markets, ideally online travel
  • Substantial experience and success within direct response and display advertising sales
  • Equally comfortable with both direct client and agency sales and a thorough understanding of the tension between the two
  • An entrepreneurial can do' approach to business, treating every problem as a challenge
  • Excellent team working skills
