BDM - Public Relations Services- Information Sales

Central London

£32,000 base salary £44,000 OTE with full corporate benefits on top

For over 50 years our client has been the market leader in the provision of Public Relations tools and services helping over 40,000 of the globes leading organisations’ reach their critical audiences. Their portfolio of products includes electronic distribution, targeting, measurement, translation and broadcast services. With offices in 11 countries and a turnover of just under £800M in 2005 they are by far the dominant market force in their chosen field.

PMA Sales Recruitment have been approached to help recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to drive revenue from their corporate and agency clients through their award winning media intelligence and Public Relations contact management system. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business sales of this core product across existing and prospective clients.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years business-to-business solution sales experience presenting to board level. They must be confident, persuasive individuals with strong communication skills who understand all stages of the sales cycle. Sales experience within the news and media marketplace and established contacts within relevant departments of FTSE 350 companies and PR agencies in the UK would be advantageous, as would knowledge/interest in the PR marketplace.
