Job Description

Our client, a leading media and events company in the higher education sector, is looking to recruit a Sales Executive / Account Manager to join their London team. As Sales Executive / Account Manager, you will be responsible for account managing a top portfolio within the higher-education sector, looking after a sales territory and selling sponsorship and exhibition space to key clients within Europe and North America. This role does involve travel.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Executive / Account Manager include:

• Generating delegates to travel to exhibitions across the globe
• Selling sponsorship and exhibition space to key clients within your sales territory
• Liaising with higher-education contacts internationally and nationally
• Maximising revenue from your portfolio
• Maintaining existing relationships
• Generating new relationships with key players in the education market

Qualities we're looking for in the Sales Executive / Account Manager include:

• Previous experience within media sales (online / print / exhibitions / events) is essential
• Good sales and negotiation skills
• Existing contacts within the higher-education sector would be useful
• A good team player with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to travel
