HOTEL REVENUE MANAGER , required for an International Hotel , based in Ipswich , East Anglia.

Package: Basic Salary of £18k - £19k dependent on experience + Bonus ( 20 % ) + company benefits

Job description:
Summary of Revenue Manager Role;
The key parts of the Revenue Manager role include ;
To grow and develop the Hotel client Base , achieving and maximising Hotel Rooms budget. . This will include dealing with sales enquiries in a proactive manner and converting to bookings , managing referral procedures and enquiries process , convert business and generate sales through show arounds , grow and develop existing customers and special corporate customers , DEVELOP Rooms and Conference Business and Meetings and Events Business in conjunction with other Hotel departments such as Reservations and Meetings and Events.
Ensure all Department administration is undertaken to required standard
Duty Manager shifts as and when required.
To actively promote sales
To provide first class service to Hotel guests
Monitor and control department costs
Support and acton all employee relations within team and department and ensure recruitment in line with productivity and manpower levels.
The above forms the key areas of responsibility for this role but it should be noted that duties may change over time and the job-holder will be expected to co-operate with reasonable changes as required.
SKILLS REQUIRED;
*You will need previous Hotel experience in a Hotel Revenue or Hotel Sales related role
* You may currently be in a Hotel reservations role and now wish to progress to Revenue Manager.
*You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
* People Management skills
The Ideal Candidate will be ;
5) Demonstrate a range of Management competencies such as adaptability , communication , creativity , decision making , influencing , integrity , self management and team work.
