Job Description

Sales Executive

16-20k Basic / 28k OTE (un capped)

Role Summary

Primarily telesales-based, the way is to establish productive and mutually beneficial relationships with small to medium sized regionally-based businesses which would benefit from my clients services.

The approach is consultative:- as an expert in digital marketing, the exec will seek to understand the business needs, requirements and budgets of the client before offering a range of solutions to match those needs.

His/her responsibility will be to achieve the KPI's set on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for sales activity, accounts secured and revenues (web address removed) is an ideal opportunity for highly accomplished, entrepreneurial sales professional to build a career with one of theUK's leading mobile marketing companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing and generation
  • Achievement of KPI's on call rates, customer numbers and revenue.
  • To plan and prioritise sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
  • Plan and manage business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.
  • Maintain knowledge of current product and services offerings to maximize sales opportunities and benefit to client.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Creation and maintenance of appropriate client records.
  • Record relevant information resulting from calls made to prospects/customers by updating system tools/databases and managing the sales pipeline.
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.

Technical skills

Essential

A proven successful sales track record with a minimum of one year's experience.

  • Or, for sales starters, a demonstrable ability to learn quickly to establish themselves in a fast moving industry.
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to establish a rapport
  • A clear understanding of the digital marketing sector and competitive landscape.
  • The ability to quickly establish relationships with potential customers in a business to business environment.
  • A proactive and determined approach, demonstrating initiative to achieve exceptional results.
