At ASA Recruitment we are looking for Trainee Consultants to join our Edinburgh Branch, across our Hospitality, Healthcare, Industrial and Finance Divisions. If you are an experienced consultant we would also like to hear from you across all sectors for our Glasgow, Edinburgh, Kirkcaldy and Aberdeen Branches.
The role of a recruitment consultant is very challenging and exciting and no two days are ever the same. The role involves attracting business from client companies by using sales and business development techniques; it is very fast paced, demanding and diverse.
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the right attitude, therefore all previous work and academic experience will be taken into full consideration. Previous experience in any of the above industry sectors along with working in a sales or business development environment is highly desirable.
We offer formalised training, however we do make sure a lot of the training is done on the job in addition to learning from our already established and experienced team. We are therefore seeking a self starter, a person who can take instruction but who can also work independently and confidently.
A large part of the job is cold calling clients to negotiate and sell the benefits of the service we provide, plus undertaking the recruitment process which includes sourcing and interviewing candidates and then placing them.
