Do you have a passion for travel and learning outside the classroom? Do you enjoy building strong customer relationships and working hard to deliver everything you promise?

This is a specialist travel company with an excellent reputation, providing trips for groups all over the world. We are looking for a dedicated and driven sales person to join the team as Travel Advisor and expand the Birmingham operation.

The Travel Advisor Role
*Identifying Key sales opportunities to deliver targets.
*Converting all enquiries into sales.
*Identifying and maximising cross selling opportunities across all products.
*Actively seeking face to face meetings with party leaders.
*Providing excellent customer service.
*Presenting at parent's evenings to introduce our products.
*Dealing with customer feedback.
*Participating in Sales Campaigns.
*Keeping up to date with our latest sales and marketing campaigns.
*Developing and maintaining excellent product knowledge by keeping up to date with new products and curriculum.

What we are looking for from you
*Proven success in and a passion for sales in a demanding and target driven environment.
*Understanding and experience of a consultative selling approach, with the ability to identify and meet customer needs in order to secure a sale.
*The ability to present to groups of people using Microsoft PowerPoint and other tools to engage with customers.
*A flexible and adaptable approach to the working day, to utilise your exposure in your geographical area.
*Commercial awareness
*A good working understanding of office IT products including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint
*A strong sense of personal ownership and initiative in order to drive sales through to completion.
*A confident, presentable individual, able to adopt a professional demeanour during face to face meetings with predominately school teachers.
*An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
Experience within the Education and/or travel sector would be a distinct advantage.

Based in Brighton with weekly travel OR could also be a homeworking position from Birmingham

THE PACKAGE:

*Monday to Friday 9-5
*Fantastic benefits
*Good basic plus commission
