Preparation and implementation of sales strategy to achieve sales objective and development of all business within the Territory for Continence

Client Details

A market leading manufacturer of continence products.

Description

  • To contribute as a member of the sales team, to the formulation of the overall Strategic Plan for the Continence Care business.

  • To manage all Continence sales in line with the business sales strategy and ABP.

  • To manage, negotiate and develop the agreed portfolio of Key accounts in achievement of sales and margin targets.

  • To produce annual promotional plans for the Key Accounts in conjunction with the Sales Manager and marketing team and within agreed budget restrictions.

  • To establish, manage & develop a solid pipeline of new business within designated channels.

  • To establish, manage and Implement a robust system for identifying new product development and Key Account opportunities.

  • To ensure that all Key Account files are maintained and regularly updated.

  • To attend sales meetings.

  • To enter data in SFDC on a daily basis.

  • To achieve call rates set by the Company.

  • To regularly liaise with the Sales Manager and Marketing Manager.

  • To maintain and develop own knowledge of industry.

  • To provide market place input into product forecasts and liaise with Marketing Manager.

  • Prepare information for Annual Business Plan planning in accordance with the objectives agreed with the Sales Manager.

  • Provide a weekly and monthly report to the Sales Manager, in accordance with agreed objectives.

  • To analyze the territory features and determine a plan for the most effective coverage.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account profiles and records in sales force.com

  • Ensure sales aids, samples and literature are maintained in excellent order.

  • Assess customer needs and assist using tools to enhance practice.

  • Co-Ordinate training programmers with support from Clinical Advisor.

  • Monitor political climate and trends to disseminate relevant information to team

Profile



Qualifications

  • Education to A-Level standard (or equivalent) is essential. Degree or evidence of equivalent academic achievement is highly desirable.

  • RGN is desirable

Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years' sales representative experience highly desirable.

  • 2+ years' sales experience in medical industry highly desirable.

  • Commercial experience in dealing with the UK NHS system would be beneficial.
