Our client is a successful office equipment and solutions provider offering copying, printing and scanning solutions throughout the UK. This post is based in High Wycombe.

The role definition

Main duties of the role are
Our client is looking for an experienced Telesales Executive to start as soon as possible to generate leads and appointments for their field sales specialists. The successful candidate should be proactive in their approach and have demonstrable experience in a similar role.

Role Requirements

Proactively call prospective customers to generate leads and appointments for the field sales specialists
In conjunction with business decision makers identify and qualify high quality leads for the field sales specialists
Identify new and emerging opportunities for business, keep up to date with market and business trends including activities of competitors
In sharing ideas, knowledge and resources constructively work as part of a sales team whose ultimate aim is to help achieve a first class sales force
Achieve results for our client and their customers by utilising resources and branding
Through participation in coaching, training and job shadowing the successful candidate will have a positive contribution to their own personal development

Key Skills

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following attributes and experience to be suitable for the role
12 months experience of outbound business/lead generation
Ability to call businesses and use a consultative approach to gain business
Self motivated and able to work with minimal support
Experience of consistently achieving KPIs and sales/income targets
Strong customer service skills
Excellent telephone manner

Key Objectives:

To generate leads and appointments for existing sales team to assist in expansion of the business and follow up and identify new business opportunities whilst keeping up to date with market and business trends including competitor activities.
Essential Criteria:
Demonstrable experience in a similar role
Ability to work in an existing team and develop new business
Have a proactive approach
