You will be working for a successful family firm, established in 1992, operating in the fixed wire telecommunications sector. Their engineers boast the highest standard of qualifications from Samsung and the company is well stocked with spares. The company is of good standing and their managing director plays an active role within the Lancashire business community.
Your primary sales colleague first joined the company in 1997. Management prides itself in being a caring employer and has rewarded their dedication by treating them to generous benefits and Christmas parties. Last year the team went to Malaga but previous destinations have included; Geneva, Copenhagen, Prague, Dublin, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Edinburgh. This is a nice place to work and is certainly not a call centre.
There is no immediate intention to grow beyond the team of 2 full time telesales executives within the 5 strong sales department. The fixed wire telecoms market is a steady business which derives much of its growth from more modern services as they become available. Their secure car park is immediately in front of their building.
Many of your calls will be to existing or historic B2B customers. You will be informing them of their latest services and identifying and subsequently closing sales opportunities. You will have the support of your sales manager and a sales administrator. You'll enjoy; a comfy chair, large PC monitor and a cordless headset. Management will tend to embrace any other items that make you comfortable in your role, within reason. You will have access to a generous supply of business gifts to help you to win the ears of customers. Management has a track record of being considerate to team member's needs. You'll be given product training and be trained on using their ACT! CRM system. Hours are 8.45 until 5.15 Monday to Friday.
