Technical Sales Engineer - Monitoring Systems - £25-35k + £8k + Car

The Role: Based in their East Midlands offices and with some time spent with customers in Europe and the UK, the new Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for selling purely into end users, dealing with sectors including metrology, renewable energy, civil engineering and agriculture. Talking to buyers, business owners/directors and academics, you will be mainly managing existing accounts with some new business activities too. A two month training course and shadowing opportunities will ensure your success here.
The Company: This US firm was established in the early 1970s and enjoys a global £100 million sales turnover with market leading status globally. They manufacture and sell monitoring systems including data loggers, measurement and control peripherals, communication devices, sensors and power supplies. Now recruiting a new Technical Sales Engineer as they expand their UK operation.
For this Technical Sales Engineer position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales track record
  • You will come from a technical sales background and have excellent account management skills
  • A science or engineering degree is a bonus
  • Diligent and organised sales engineers with a superb relationship building ability
