THE OPPORTUNITY:

You may already be an SVP looking for change, but this is a phenomenal opportunity for a Senior Sales / BD / Account Manager with demonstrable ability to move into an SVP role for this world-class organisation.

You will be a unique and inspirational leader with an ability to define, build and deliver a long term, innovative sales roadmap.  You will provide oversight in areas of research, marketing and sales and drive revenue for the company by delivering B2B sales programmes that demonstrate innovation, strategic positioning and competitive marketplace analysis. Your primary focus will be on growth and you will have driven and been instrumental in driving growth by double and even triple figures, within your previous roles. You will work closely with internal departments to understand all substantive project issues and drive coordination between internal and external-based teams, deployed across various projects.

We are looking for a candidate who is up for a challenge, who will identify and fix any issues that arise quickly and who will identify, assign and track key business development opportunities.

The remuneration package for this position is considerable, and as such, we would expect all eligible candidates to have proven experience of thriving within a performance-driven culture.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales / business development with demonstrable history of growing accounts
  • 7 years’ people management experience
  • Professional, intelligent and consultative approach
  • History of relationship building, deal execution and coordinating senior management
  • Excellent skills to be able to coach, train and develop
  • Experience of selling complex, high-value contracts, involving multiple decision makers at C-Level
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Proven ability to develop and win multi-million pound contracts
  • A creative thinker and problem solver with an ability to multi-task
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Effective leadership of a sales function within a complex, multi-national organisation is preferred
  • Outstanding standard of communication skills – written and verbal
  • Natural ability to build internal and external working relationships
  • Somebody who works well under pressure
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • A friendly and supportive approach
  • Experience of technical sales within the IT sector
