Our client provides agile loans to retail businesses paid back via POS takings. One way of doing this is to call individual pubs, restaurants, independent retailers - the list goes on. A more effective way to take their offering to market is via a major partner network such as the payment terminal companies & technology networks. This role is to increase engagement within those partners, to design, launch campaigns and ensure a mixture of leads & new business enquiries are coming in for the sales team.
Part of a large venture capitalist start-up accelerator, our client is a tech start-up aimed at helping retail businesses gain access to quick, agile & accessible finance. By working in tandem with payments companies, our client is able to offer small loan repayment plans based on monthly takings, instead of fixed percentage repayments. Therefore, if a client has a bad month, they can still pay their staff. Equally, if they have a particularly good month, they clear a larger chunk of their debt. With over 80 permanent staff, our client is beyond start-up mode and is now pushing for profitability, having taken a significant market share already.
