Specification Sales Engineer
My Client is a leading supplier in the Global Lighting Industry, they are now looking to expand their team with this role.
The main purpose of this role will be to support sales by promoting the company’s solutions with Specifiers, Light designers, Architects, Consulting Engineer firms and key End Users.
Location – Aldridge, West Midlands.
Salary - Circa £40,000
The main Duties of the role will be to establish new networks and develop existing links to lighting specifiers across Europe, achieving sales targets following projects from preparation, negotiation and closure, be responsible for developing new business and manage project pipeline with CRM.
You will also Visit Specifiers to promote existing/new products, providing technical support and instructions and Gather product and market information; prepare market analysis (based on competitors, customers, prices, product portfolio); identify new market potential
To be considered for this role you will have a College/university degree preferably engineering or commercial, 5+ years’ experience in project business roles ideally in the lighting industry, Proven understanding of specification route to market from End Users to Consultants and Specifiers and a
Knowledge of lighting applications and controls is preferred.
