European manufacturer of top of the range laminated composite materials is looking for a Specification Sales representative to manage their UK distributor network. The role is also creating and following pipeline to secure end user projects with specifiers and backselling through distribution.
This award-winning manufacturer specialises in specialist laminated composite materials for a wide myriad of uses, including public buildings and commercial, including sports halls, museums, schools, airports, universities and cleanroom environments. This can a sophisticated project led sale where you will manage the whole process of the sales through architects and specifiers through to your UK distributors who occasionally also provide the installation teams and transformers.
The role requires a proven sales professional ideally with experience in laminated composite materials, panels, insulation, partitioning, boards, or similar construction products sold through distribution and specifiers.
Reporting directly into the Global Sales Director you will be self managing and able to implement and work to your own sales processes, methodologies and measures to ensure that the business growth targets are met. You will be market aware, the kind of individual that keeps tabs on all competitor activities and learns how to sell effectively against them. As the role is tender and project led you will be IT literate with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be enthusiastic, well presented, a self-starter and be a proven business developer within the construction industry.
