Sales Engineer, Capital Equipment into Plant Hire, South of England. Up to £45K Basic, £80K OTE + Car + Benefits. Major global manufacturer of a wide range of capital equipment including earth moving equipment, bulldozers and road pavers require a proven sales professional with experience of selling plant equipment into the hire sector, including very specialist hire firms.
This role is surprisingly commercial requiring a capital equipment sales professional that is a consummate account manager a mechanical engineering 'bent'. The role is selling and leasing unique patented capital equipment together with associated ancillary parts, spares, consumables and service. Therefore, the role needs an individual with a proven record of demonstrating, selling and servicing equipment 'in the field'. The role is due to retirement after 25 years of loyal service and will include a full handover and introduction to key account contacts together with significant product training.
