My client is a leading marketing agency that specialises in brand protection and enhancement through recall management, data, CRM and insight. They're looking for an experienced sales professional with a passion for problem solving. Alternatively, this role is well suited to a marketing professional with experience in data, CRM and brand protection who's inspired by the chance to work with clients to develop and solutions that the agency can offer to meet their needs, in turn selling the proposition.

  • Global Recall Management– managing the customer journey during a recall event and the product reverse logistics while ensuring consolidated and compliant reporting
  • Predictive Marketing– using historical interactive customer data to predict future buying behaviours and stimulate growth through strategically positioned and timed outbound marketing campaigns
  • Customer Care / CRMwith a 24/7 omni-channel contact centre facility and an ethos of customer service
  • All of which combine to help their clients build stronger contacts with their customers and derive more value from these relationships.
The role.

They are looking for an enthusiastic Solution Sales professional with great relationship skills and strong commercial understanding to join them at an exciting time of growth.

Main purpose of the job.

This position is responsible for supporting the commercial activity plans to meet the growth objectives of my client’s business in Europe. Main focus will be around the management of prospects, building and managing a strategic sales pipe, building commercial proposals, procurement and relationship management of key service vendors.

The role will work very closely with the US and UK Commercial Teams.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role.

• Creating detailed proposal documents with strong understanding of margin position and business profitability
• Identifying and managing hot strategic prospects for new business
• Responding timely to incoming prospect enquiries
• Good negotiation skills and ability to present a compelling solution/sale
• Understanding customer needs and using it appropriately to make a sale
• Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
• Maintaining and developing good relationships with existing customers
• Gathering market and customer information to improve/enhance approach
• Representing company at trade exhibitions, events and seminars
• Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications vendors / strategic partners
• Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer convinced
• Advising on forthcoming product developments and suggest new sales approaches proactively
• Feeding future buying trends back to business
• Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues
• Managing and tracking sales metrics
• Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
• Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations

The experience we need

Excellent understanding of project margins and profitability
• Strong relationship management skills
• Good negotiation skills and ability to present a compelling solution/sale
• Three to five years in a sales representative role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting
• Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
• High degree of self-motivation and ambition
• Skills to work both independently and as part of a team
• Capability to flourish in a competitive environment
