Sim Development Manager
Main Purpose of the Job
To take ownership and service a territory of Independent, Symbol and Multiple (when required) retailer outlets with the PayPoint SIM proposition. To deliver agreed SIM sales volume and merchandising tasks across the PayPoint SIM range with the primary objective of growing the active base of retailers stocking and subsequently activating PayPoint-sourced SIMs.
To identify the key decision maker by outlet and develop strong sales relationships with agents and retailers in defined territory to ensure a face to face SIM selling opportunity is realised in every call.
To deliver against defined SIM sales targets agreed each week, month, quarter and year.
To deliver action plans prioritising and grading the potential of your customer base.
Identify non-PayPoint sites that would want to take our SIM proposition.
To develop strong working relationships with all retailers and agents to ensure they actively promote PayPoint SIMs, including compliance in terms of removal of competitor SIMs.
To ensure that relevant and up-to-date point of sale is on display within the stores.
To journey plan effectively, prioritising calls providing the greatest opportunity to deliver SIM sales and providing support to maximise current business.
To comprehensively plan and prepare for each SIM sales call, ensuring SMART objectives are set for each outlet visit with a view of continually developing SIM business within the store.
To review SIM sales and activation data provided to identify areas of opportunity, underperforming agents and track performance against KPI’s.
To utilise all sales tools provided.
To attend and participate in monthly Sales /Operational Days demonstrating accountability for your territory.
To deal with and resolve where possible, any queries and complaints encountered in the field where appropriate referring issues to your RDM.
Additional territory coverage required as and when required.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achievement of agreed weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual SIM sales targets whilst not exceeding the average order size threshold
SIM activation targets within territory being achieved
Achievement of all operational and merchandising tasks with minimum overdue calls
Contribution (ideas, involvement at team meetings) to achieving Regional and National objectives
High personal conduct and appearance to reflect the professionalism of PayPoint Retail Services Field Team
Effective territory and time management
Increase of active SIM sites within territory
Territory Growth – activation volumes & additional SIM revenue to PayPoint
Completion of all merchandising tasks within defined timescales and deadlines to briefing standard
Field accompaniments , monthly 1:1’s and six monthly review/annual appraisal
Meeting Admin deadlines

Ability to cope with pressure
Full valid driving licence and use of a car 5 days a week
IT literacy and technical ability
