Senior Sales Executive:  £45,000-55,000 BASIC + £70k OTE

The Company:

We are a leading publisher of various industry journals, online content and symposiums.  Our platforms deliver sponsored content to the Life Sciences community globally.  We are going through a tremendous growth phase and intend to triple the companies size from 35-100 employees within the next 18 months.  We will also be bringing to market a new portfolio of solutions that will include - business intelligence and various portals.  This is a very exciting time for us!

We require high calibre Senior Sales Executives / Business Development Managers to lead the revenue generation and go to market sales of our new offerings.

The Role:

We are looking for Senior Sales Executives to join our business development team at our London HQ to support our growth and acquisition of the leading companies various sectors across Europe and beyond.

The role will be fast-paced and varied involving:

• Research to understand the relevant issues for your market and communicate those issues effectively to senior level executives within the Life Sciences / Pharma / Healthcare / Consulting / Medical Technology sector

Selling sponsored content and print/advertising solutions

• Presenting and networking our solution to C-level executives in person and over the telephone

• Develop and grow a strong comprehension of the sales skills required in this role, including an understanding of the value proposition and value based selling.

• Negotiate deals up to $1m.

• Continuously train and develop your sales and negotiation skills both over the phone and face to face.

The Candidate:

• The ideal Senior Sales Executive candidate is an excellent communicator and influencer with strong research skills; is analytical and articulate; a team player with a professional demeanor, driven by recognition, progression and delivering value to a client’s organization.

Must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment, where there is lot's of banter! :) 

Requirements:

Ideally three to seven years progressive, B2B outbound sales experience

• Hunger and passion to succeed in a professional B2B sales environment

• Confident telephone manner

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate a business solution to C-level executives.

• Can stay focused on rigorously bringing in new partners while nurturing existing client relationships. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• A diligent and persevering work ethic.

• Degree Educated - ideal although not essential. 

Background in Pharma / Life Science sector or Life Science degree an advantage, but not essential.
